Former Telangana CM KCR Suffers Hip Fracture

K Chandrasekhar Rao, the former chief minister of Telangana, was taken to the hospital last night after falling in his Erravalli farmhouse; ANI news agency said a fracture is likely.

The chief of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has been admitted to Hyderabad’s Yashoda Hospital.
The 69-year-old head of BRS had his condition assessed by medical professionals. KCR will need a left hip replacement, and the hospital said in an official statement that he would likely recover in six to eight weeks.

After tripping and falling in his home’s bathroom, K Chandrashekhar Rao Garu was taken to Yashoda Hospital. After examination, which included CT scans, it was discovered that he had an extracapsular neck of femur fracture in his left hip.

“A multidisciplinary team comprising orthopaedic, anesthesiology, general medicine, and pain medicine continuously monitors him. Overall, he is doing well. Yashoda Hospital said it will occasionally provide an update on his health status.


PM Modi also tweeted and expressed his concern for the head of BRC.

Meanwhile, KCR is receiving specialist care and has a minor injury, according to BRS party head Kavitha Kalvakuntla.
